Hi! I’m Crystal Way, the heart behind From One Moment To Another Photography. I'm a proud wife, mom of two, and a photographer based in Taylor, Michigan, serving Southeast Michigan and beyond. My journey into photography wasn’t something I planned — it was something I felt. It started in the most personal way imaginable: through the lens of a mother determined to hold onto every second of her daughter's life.
A Personal Beginning :
My eldest child was born at just 24 weeks, weighing only 2 lbs 3 oz. She spent her first two months in the NICU, and those days were filled with fear, hope, and love. I found comfort and healing through my camera. I photographed everything, every visitor, every milestone — because I couldn’t afford to forget a single moment. Just six days after coming home, she was readmitted with RSV, fighting once again. I kept documenting — every smile, every touch, every sign of strength. My camera became my way of preserving not just her journey, but the love and support around us. Today, that tiny fighter is 20 years old and taller than me! And I still take photos of her and her sibling like it’s my full-time job — because it is, and it’s my passion.
Why I Do This:
Photography is more than images. It’s about connection. Emotion. Story. I became a photographer to help others hold on to the moments that matter — the laughter, the chaos, the quiet hugs, the teary-eyed smiles, the “I do’s,” the baby kicks, the growing families. I specialize in couples, engagement, maternity, and lifestyle photography — all with an emotional, storytelling style.
